A quality education truly changes a person’s life. It affords them the opportunity to shape their future and be an integral part of the community. Globally, there are far too many people in marginalized communities who struggle to receive a quality education.
I hope that I will always be a teacher and a student for as long as I’m still able to function as a human being. Education is such a fundamental component of progress, and it fuels hope for the future. Every one of us has the capacity to pass on what we know and learn from those we teach. There’s no catastrophe so dire or fear so great that it can’t be overcome with an openness and thirst for knowledge.
I have seen the enormous impact that access to information can have on a person’s life, and I dream of a world where all people have the opportunity to receive a quality education that can open the doors to new, abundant opportunities.
