Innovation: New Ways to Tackle Challenges

I’m always impressed with how the world has constantly changed over the years with our continuous pursuit of innovation. Two decades ago, I needed to pay expensive fees to make long-distance calls to my parents in Hong Kong. I could only listen to their voices and couldn’t actually see what they were doing or know if they were doing as well as they said over the phone. With the technological breakthroughs that created options like FaceTime and Video Calls, I can now see and chat with my family for hours!

The incredible thing about mission-driven organizations and people is that they look at the world differently. When they see an intractable challenge, they don’t throw their arms up in despair. They come up with a new, original approach and resolution that eventually will impact the world. Through their  persistence and enthusiasm, innovative .ORGs conquer challenges and lead the world to a better and more prosperous future. I love witnessing the moments where people and organizations rise to serve their communities during difficult times through groundbreaking methods.

Join the people behind .ORG as we celebrate innovative .ORGs during the 10 Days of .ORG beginning November 30th. Learn more about the online event by visiting www.orgimpactawards.org
