While 2020 has presented humanity with many trials and tribulations, this year has also created an avenue for volunteers, silent supporters, and neighborhood leaders to kick start and boost their efforts to improve the community in order to reach a wider audience. So many organizations have been formed to help combat and solve a multitude of issues – large and small, global and local, current and lasting.
As an advocate for .ORGs and one of the people behind .ORG, I have the utmost respect and admiration for those who have the drive and determination to not only identify issues and challenges in the world, but possess the passion to combat and, eventually, overcome them. Rallying people around a cause and building an organization from the ground-up is incredibly difficult to do. The .ORG Newcomer of the Year embodies what .ORG is all about, and I am very fortunate to be in a position where I can support and promote the good work that these fine folks are doing and accomplishing. Join us, the .ORG team at Public Interest Registry, as we celebrate newly formed .ORGs during the 10 Days of .ORG beginning November 30th. Learn more by visiting www.orgimpactawards.org.
