Over the past few months, organizations have risen to the unprecedented challenges caused by COVID-19.

These organizations have had to find swift, new ways to serve and aid their communities.

They’ve helped people access government services, fed the hungry, provided personal protective equipment, and supported those who have directly and indirectly been affected by the coronavirus. The important work these .ORGs are doing to combat coronavirus hits home for me. My parents are high-risk for the virus. Additionally, we don’t have a full accurate view of the long-term health effects of the disease right now, which frightens me and my wife since we have small children.

I have never been more proud of the .ORG community for working towards the common goal of learning about and fighting COVID-19 despite cultural or political differences.

I hope you will tune in during the 10 Days of .ORG to watch as one of these amazing .ORGs is rewarded for their work to Combat Coronavirus. Check out orgimpactawards.org for more details about the 2020 .ORG Impact Awards online event beginning November 30th.
